Bronnadh teastas ar Ghaelscoil Chionn tSáile ar an gCéadaoin, ag aithint gur bhain an scoil amach Brat Glas nua le déanaí, agus bhí an t-ádh linn go raibh daoine ó phobal Chionn tSáile inár measc don ócáid.
Thug Marie O’Sullivan, méara Chionn tSáile & Dhroichead na Bandan, agus baill de Kinsale Tidy Towns an teastas don Coiste Glas. Thug SuperValu crann úill don scoil chomh maith agus fuaireamar síolta do bhláthanna fiáine ó Kinsale Tidy Towns.
Táimid an-bhuíoch gur aithníodh an obair ar fad atá ar siúl sa scoil maidir leis an timpeallacht agus inbhuanathacht.

Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile was presented with a certificate on Wednesday, recognising that the school has recently been awarded a new Green Flag, and we were fortunate to have people from across the local community in Kinsale with us to mark the occasion.
Cllr. Marie O’Sullivan, mayor of Kinsale & Bandon municipal district and members of Kinsale Tidy Towns presented the certificate to the Green Schools committee. Representatives of SuperValu gave the school an apple tree and we also received wildflower seeds from Kinsale Tidy Towns.
We are very grateful that we have been recognised by the local community for all the work that is happening in our school for the environment and sustainability.
